Saturday Morning Watchmen - The Watchmen Cartoon

What if The Watchmen were Saturday morning cartoon superheroes?? Well it would probably look like the video above.

A buddy of mine pointed this out because he originally thought it was real. That’s how good it looks.

TRANSMETROPOLITAN - BOOK 1 I just finished reading the first trade-paper-back of Transmetropolitan and it’s awesome. It takes place in the future and focuses around the main character Spider Jerusalem. They might as well have just called him Hunter S. Thompson though since the character is clearly a future reincarnate of the great gonzo-journalist. Anyways, the story is kinda light and fun, while still poking at the joke we call the human race. If you like reading Hunter S. Thompson then you’ll probably like this book.

I just finished reading the first trade-paper-back of Transmetropolitan and it’s awesome. It takes place in the future and focuses around the main character Spider Jerusalem. MARVEL ZOMBIES - ALL THE MARVEL HEROES… IN ZOMBIE FORM I Just finished reading the 2nd book of this series and it’s great. It’s not Marvel’s best story line ever, but it’s tons of fun. So far there’s 3 trade-paperbacks, but more will come. The gist of it is that all the super-powered heroes of the Marvel Earth have been infected with a zombie virus. Once they’ve eaten up most of the humans on earth they have to figure what to do next to feed their insatiable hunger. It’s worth the read just to see your favorite Marvel Heroes as zombies.

LEGENDS OF THE DARK CRYSTAL - VOLUME 1: THE GARTHIM WARS Last night The Dark Crystal was on TV. It was one of my favorite movies growing up. It also made me start to think about the rumors of a sequel coming out in 2011. While searching through the interweb I stumbled upon this comic book. It’s part 1 of a 3 part series to get people hyped up for The Dark Crystal 2. Volume 2 of the comics will be coming out later this year, but for now my quest is to find this book and read it.
